Golden Artist Colors is a manufacturer of Acrylic Artist Paints, located in Columbus, N.Y. In business since 1980, the company was started on the family farm by Sam Golden, a retired paintmaker who had worked with his uncle making paint for 30 years. Today, the business has grown to 135 employees, and has an International customer base. From the facility in Columbus (actual address is New Berlin), product is produced, packaged, and shipped both within the United States and to 54 countries around the world. Golden is proud to be a local employer, whose employees primarily come from a 20-mile radius. Community involvement is very important to Golden, who participates in many local activities and supports the involvement of their employees through a Community Service policy.
